Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich will join the Young Republican National Federation (YRNF) during the YRNF Super Tuesday Watch Party event to discuss the Super Tuesday primary results on a conference call at 10:00 p.m. Eastern that night (Call-in number 218.936.1600, access code 293143#). YRs throughout the country will gather with their local city and county clubs to watch the election returns roll in, cheer on their favorite GOP candidates, and analyze the future of the presidential race. GOPAC Chairman Michael Steele will host the nationwide event via YouTube video.

From coast-to-coast, Young Republicans (YRs) will unite to watch the election returns from Super Tuesday. They will be connected and interact with other YR Watch Parties through online networks such as Facebook and YouTube. By uploading their own videos and photos and viewing those from other clubs spanned across the country, YRs will be able to react and respond to results from the 22 primaries and caucuses on Super Tuesday.

Jennifer Shoemaker, event organizer, said, "It is simply wonderful to see YR clubs meeting locally and connecting with other YRs around the nation. The enthusiasm I hear about Super Tuesday and about these Watch Parties from YRs nationwide is palpable." Jessica Colón, YRNF Chairman, stated, "The Young Republicans are ready to rally behind a nominee and send a Republican president to the White House in 2008. We are delighted to have Speaker Gingrich and Chairman Steele headlining our Super Tuesday event. We will take the momentum from this event forward as we continue to energize our demographic in this election of our lifetime."

Speaker Newt Gingrich (www.newt.org) led the 1994 Republican takeover of the U.S. House of Representatives, breaking the hold Democrats had over the body for 40 years. Speaker Gingrich continues to carry the conservative message in his post Congressional career. He is a Fox News analyst, professional public speaker, and bestselling author. His new book, Real Change: From the World that Fails to the World that Works, is available in bookstores and amazon.com. Chairman Michael Steele joined GOPAC having finished his term Lieutenant Governor of Maryland. Chairman Steele is often seen on the FOX News Channel and at many Republican events throughout the country. Chairman Steele aims to concentrate GOPAC’s efforts on recruiting, training, and equipping candidates across the country to establish new and maintain current Republican majorities.

Since its creation, the YRNF has established itself as the premier Republican grassroots organization in the nation, providing essential grassroots support for Republican candidates and conservative issues on the local, state and national levels. The YRNF does not coordinate efforts or endorse candidates in Republican primary races. The YRNF has a solid record of producing future Republican Party leaders - including Governors, Senators, Congressmen, nationally recognized campaign consultants, and community leaders.
