YRs Join Tea Party Activists in Washington, D.C.

From coast to coast, Americans fed up with the Tax and spend mantra that is running our federal government participated in a nationwide Tea Party September 12th.

Upstate YR Club Chair James Gibney, represented South Carolina at the rally and said, "At such a critical time in our nation's history, Young Republicans have to stand up for our Conservative values. The future of our great country depends on our activism & leadership. As Chairman of the UYR, we have been & will continue to be a part of the Conservative Revolution."

Tennesse Young Republican Elect New Leadership

The Tennesse Young Republican Federation held their Annual State Convention on September 12th at the Sheration Downtown in Nashville.

YRNF Celebrates National Hispanic Heritage Month

The YRNF joins the RNC in celebrating the National Hispanic Heritage Month September 15-October 15.
 
"Hispanic Americans have enriched our country immensely," said Lubby Navarro. "Hispanic Heritage Month is a time for Young Republicans to celebrate and embrace our nation's diversity.

YRNF Congratulates George LeMieux on Recent Appointment to United States Senate

The Young Republican National Federation (YRNF) congratulates former Young Republican (YR) George LeMieux on his recent appointment to serve in the United State Senate.  This former Broward County Young Republican Club President was chosen by Florida Governor Charlie Crist to fill the vacancy left by Senator Mel Martinez.  He joins other great former YRs who have worked the Senate floor, such as Senator John Cornyn of Texas.

Louisiana State Chairman addresses Belgian Conservatives

Louisiana Young Republican Federation Chairman Michael Bayham addressed a meeting of the Belgium's Jong Gezond Verstand (Young Common Sense) political group in Ghent on August 12.

Pennslyvania YR Leadership Conference

The Pennsylvania YRs hosted a a Leadership Conference in PIttsburgh where 2 members of the YRNF Administration conducted seminars on grassroots, creative membership and fundraising.  Lisa Stickan, YRNF Co-Chairman and Jason Weingartner, Vice Chairman at-Large attended and spoke on Saturday. Congrats to the YRs in PA for a great event!
